Posted by Mary Nguyen on

Every week we'll put together a list of book recommendations which you can find here on our blog but also our instagram @foxandwit if you'd like to give us a follow!

This is week 17 of our weekly themed book recommendations 🥳 these are so fun to put together and I’m so glad you all are enjoying them as much as I am!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re ever in a book slump I highly recommend reading a novella or short story.

We’ve included quite a few novellas over the years as a second bonus book in our adult boxes. As you can see we’re huge fans of Nghi Vo. If you’re looking for a fantasy that isn’t Eurocentric there are a few options on that list we hope you enjoy.

The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo

When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain by Nghi Vo

The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water by Zen Cho

A Spindle Splintered by Alix E. Harrow

Into the Riverlands by Nghi Vo

Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh

A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers

And lastly:

Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

Yellow Jessamine by Caitlin Starling

The Faerie Hounds of York by Arden Powell

Fireheart Tiger by Aliette De Bodard

We hope you enjoyed this themed recommendation!
